Politics 2.0: Politics and Blogs Meet at the Basque Parliament

A pioneer experience in Europe that intends to be a reference for other countries.

This meeting was organized by a group of bloggers, 43 to be exacts, intends to be a meeting journey between people that have blogs and politicians with or without blogs. A meeting to talk about the future, about the politics of participation. A journey where we intend to escape from all that represents today’s politics to go deep into 2.0. A Good opportunity to think and try to encourage changes on the election campaign that will run soon. A campaign we hope can start reflecting the advantages that the 2.0 can provide politics. Politics 2.0 is a non stopping process, and it is in the interest of all politicians to get on that train better today than tomorrow. Saturday 13^th of September all the interested politicians will be able to submerge and deepen in this world. 

This journey is not a learning school, it only intends to be a meeting to know, experiment, and of course, contribute and share. We hope and wish that all politic parties will come to this interactive experience with the people, and also the media interested in this vision of the future.

1.    Reception and institutional presentation. Izaskun Bilbao, Rafa Larreina.

2.    Presentation of the work done in wiki. Goyo del Sol

3.    First block of Microspeeches: Mikel Agirregabiria ("From epic politics to lyric politics" ), Roberto Cacho ( "listen 2.0"), Iñaki Murua (Komunikazioa 2.0 itsasoan), Ricardo Ibarra (Affiliation 2.0). Discussion will also be available on the blog.

4.    Coffee Break: Active Dialog and Networking.

5.    Second bloc of Microspeeches: Alorza("a matter of values"), José Antonio Donaire (Politics  2.0: from tools to ideas), Rafa Larreina (to be a politician 2.0) y ... (we are still working on the speeches). Discussion will also be available on twitter.

6.    Micro speeches closure Iñaki Ortiz. Politika 2.0: Short, medium and long range targets.

7.    Compromise: Presentation of the 10 rules of the politician blogger manifesto, conclusions and signing of the manifesto by anyone that would like to join it. The discussion continues. All the political parties present will collaborate publishing the conclusions in the official blog of their party.

8.    After the event it will be virtualized through wiki .
